Applications are invited from male Indian citizens who fulfill the following eligibility criterion for filling up the vacancies in the rank of Constable Driver.
Constable Driver:

Age:18 to 28 years ( Cut off date for age will be 1st August,2012)
Qualification: (i) Matriculation or Equivalent from a Recognized Board/University (ii) Must possess valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License
Physical standards:
Height:
i) 170Cms for all except the categories shown below.
ii) Minimum height 165Cms belongings to hill areas of Garhwal, Kumaon, Himachal Pradesh, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas, Sikkimis, Leh and Ladakh, Kashmir Valley and North East..
iii) 162.5Cms for the candidates belonging to ST, Tribal/ Adivasi including Mizos & Nagas.
Chest:
i) 80Cms (Un-Expanded), 85Cms (Expanded) for all except the categories shown below.
ii) 76-81 Cm. for ST, Tribal/ Adivasi including Mizo and Naga candidates
Weight: Proportionate to height as per Medical standard.
Physical Efficiency Test:
• One mile race: To be completed in 6 ½ minutes
• Long Jump 11 feet (03 chances)
• High Jump 3’ 6” (03 chances)
Written Examination: The candidates who qualify PST and PET will appear in written examination on OMR based Answer Sheets which comprise multiple choice objective type question as per given syllabus:
Syllabus for Written Examination (Maximum Time: 2 Hours):
i) General English/Hindi: 50 Marks
ii) General Knowledge: 50 Marks
Application Fee: Application fee will be Rs.50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC categories. No fee will be charged from SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates
