General Instructions:
I. Upper Age Limit (as on 01/01/2012) is 40 Years for Post Codes 01a, 03a, 04a, 04b, 06a, 07a, 09a, 10a, 11a and 11b and 35 Years for the remaining posts. The Upper Age Limit is relaxable for SC/ST by 5 Years and for OBC-A & OBC-B by 3 Years.
II. Each applicant must submit only one application for a single post in a single Bank.
III. The applicant must enclose with his/her application:
(a) Attested photocopies of documents as proof of age, caste, qualification, knowledge in Computer & Experience.
(b) Application fee of Rs. 160/ for UR & OBC candidates is payable only by Challans against Cash deposited in favour of COOPERATIVE SERVICE COMMISSION, WEST BENGAL with any CBS-enabled Branch of The West Bengal State Cooperative Bank Ltd. (CD A/c No.29312051276, lying with Kolkata Main Branch) or any Branch of United Bank of India (CD A/c No.0070050002102, lying with Alipore Branch). SC/ST candidates are exempted from paying such fees.
(c) Those in service in State / Central Government / Public Undertakings must apply through PROPER CHANNEL.
(d) If any application does not contain requisite Bank Challan (for UR/OBC candidates) or Signatures or if it provides false or wrong information shall be rejected outright. Any application though initially accepted is liable to be rejected, if any defect is detected at any later stage.
(e) Fees once paid are not refundable in any case.
(f) All examinations / interviews will be held in Kolkata only. No TA / DA will be paid to the candidates in this respect.
(g) Instructions / guidelines as may be issued by the Commission from time to time in the matter of Recruitment Test / Interview shall be binding on the candidates.
(h) Candidates must have passed Madhyamik / HS or equivalent with BENGALI as 1st/2nd Language.
